About Plasma Girl
Plasma Girl is a New Zealand-based STEM initiative dedicated to igniting the sparks of curiosity and resilience in the next generation. We run free, high-energy, and creative science workshops in local libraries, designed to make complex concepts accessible and fun for children from all backgrounds. By blending hands-on experiments with imaginative storytelling, we empower Kiwi kids to explore the wonders of the physical world, building the confidence they need to become tomorrow's innovators and problem-solvers.
Mission Goals
Our mission is to foster an inclusive environment where every child in New Zealand can explore the wonders of STEM through hands-on creativity. By bringing high-energy workshops directly to libraries, we bridge the gap between complex science and everyday imagination.
Are you passionate about science and education? We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers and dedicated supporters to help us reach more libraries across New Zealand. Together, we can inspire a generation of young scientists.
Thank you to our supporters & funders
Plasma Girl is made possible thanks to support from local boards and partners who share our passion for science and community.
