Dry Ice
Dry ice is the solid form of carbon dioxide and it’s super cool (literally)! Unlike regular ice, it doesn’t melt into water, it skips straight from solid to gas in a foggy process called sublimation. That’s what creates those spooky, smoky clouds you see in science shows and Halloween cauldrons!
Steam Power in Action: DIY Mini Steamboat!
In this experiment, I built a simple steam-powered boat using basic materials and heated water to make it move! By turning heat into steam, I created pressure that pushed the boat forward — just like the early steamboats that changed transportation. It’s a fun and hands-on way to explore how heat energy can turn into motion!
